I decided to try this primer after trying other off name products like this and not being happy of the results and going back to my expensive Mac primer every single time. Times are hard right now so I tried this elf primer to take another aim at a less expensive brand. And I am glad I did because it’s a great product for the money!! I discovered I actually like the container better than the pump or something you squeeze out because I can use my foundation brush to get what I need and it gets deeper into my pores and wrinkled areas so much better. My makeup looks great all day long even if I’m working up a sweat for hours!! On a side note Amazon does have foundation brushes that works well. I bought DU Care brand. The pink one is best in that line.

I have large pores and this is the only primer I’ve tried (some budget, some luxe) that actually helps. The best application for me is to use the Elf brush. I apply it with the spatula end and use that to spread and press it, then lightly buff with the brush.

This is the first time I have tried a primer in a “putty” form. I have to say, for an e.l.f product, this is a really great product. If you use this with a pad, it’s just too much. I have been using this with a little primer brush and it works really well. I now have this on my subscribe and save. For the price, it’s a great product. I just wish this came in a larger size.

I have tried several primers including very high end ones. This Elf product is very impressive. It applies smoothly and does blur pours. My skin is sensitive yet I experienced no reaction to this product. I am especially pleased since it’s so affordable.

I have very dry skin (I live in Arizona, which doesn’t help). Finding a good primer for my textured, patchy skin, has been challenging. I even purchased my all-time favorite, LeBase by Lancome, and it didn’t work. I decided to try Elf’s putty primer after reading reviews. I’m so glad I did! I love this primer! It smooths the skin and makes my makeup last. Even my husband commented that my skin looks smoother. I’ve been pairing it with Ciele skin tint, which makes my skin look nice and natural. Even better, this primer is so affordable. I’m becoming a big fan of Elf products. They are just as good, if not better, than high-end cosmetic products.

I bought this on a whim and don’t know how I wore makeup without it! It absolutely hides my large pores. It also dulls the red in my cheeks due to rosacea. It wears all day. It is my must have make up item.
