I absolutely love this eyeliner. It is nice and dark black and applies so easily! The application is smooth like butter and lasts pretty much all day. I have tried more expensive designer eyeliners, but this is by far my favorite. Gives my eyes instant pop and definition! Not to mention that the pencil itself is fat and easy to maneuver. The pencil lasts a very long time and I use it every day!

Let me preface my review by saying that I’m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to makeup.I know how to apply eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick, and concealer – but that’s the extent of it, and it’s certainly not a daily occurrence.That being said, I’ve been wanting to branch out more and try to “up” my makeup game.After reading someone’s blog post that included a link to this eyeliner, and her rave reviews of said product, I decided to buy it – as eye makeup is the one thing I can *really* get down with.It was crazy easy to apply, super dark and heavy looking (FYI for those who want something a little more understated), and I loved it from the get go.My first time wearing it was to a Thanksgiving family gathering and I found myself running to the bathroom constantly. That’s because, before leaving my house, I noticed that every second a smear/circle/smudge would appear at the “crease” of my eyes.I’d rub it off easily enough and then…blink, blink, blink…it’d be back.Now – this may be because I used too much, or because I didn’t know anything about “setting spray/powder” that’s supposed to keep your eye makeup from doing this.But I definitely developed a complex that evening – hence running to the bathroom mirror often to rub the smeared semi-circle that I had known was back.I’ve since bought this “setting powder” stuff all those makeup pages talk about, and have learned a few extra tricks on how NOT to have it smear like that, so I’m still very happy with the purchase.However, I know I’m not the only one in the world who doesn’t know every little thing one could possibly know about the makeup world, so just wanted to warn/prepare someone who’s thinking of buying this that: 1.) It’s great, easy to apply, very dark and beautiful. 2.) It *WILL* smudge/smear/give you half-moons above your eyes unless you apply eyeshadow or setting powder over the eyeliner. 3.) I have no regrets! 🙂

I use this as eyeliner and on my water line. It is very pigmented and always a quality product. It functions just as you hope it would. Goes on smooth and makes my eyes look very bright. It comes off easily with soap and water. I take it with me and have to reapply once on my waterline.

I believe this L’Oreal eye crayon is being discontinued, since I can’t find it anywhere. Was thrilled to find it on Amazon. It’s cheap, goes on easily (and STAYS on), and looks beautiful!!! I only wish it were available in brown or brown/black, as black is a little harsh on me. But, you can always just smudge it a bit….

This is my favorite eyeliner… ever. I first got this eyeliner from a m Walgreens back in middle school… I am in my 20s now. I think I’ve only ever had to buy 4 in my lifetime, so this stuff lasts a long while if you just use it as eyeliner or the occasional black lipstick. It’s GREAT for smoldering smudgy looks and blending. I use it in my waterline almost every time I put on makeup. It’s important to note that this eyeliner is probably not the best for wings or precise lines on the eyelid looks. It does smudge. It’s not messy, but it does smudge. That being said… I do sometimes use it for wings and my eyebrows.

I love the size, the ease of application, the color, and how bold it is, but it smudges and runs so easily that you have very little time to enjoy it before needing to reapply. Have yet to figure out a curve to avoid this (I do not have oily skin.)

Best eyeliner ever!
This eyeliner goes on smoothly. It’s nice and dark and I don’t have to keep retracing back and forth with it like I do with other eyeliner pencils. The bonus is that it lasts for a long time ( a year)
