I put this on in the morning & it stays on all day. The secret is to not use the clear coat. Just color dry and it will stay on better. Great value, not sticky at all. Drys fast. Looks great all day.

I swear by this lip stain and have been using it for years! It stays on for hours through eating, drinking, and even swimming in the pool. I usually only have to reapply once a day max. I also really like that it comes with the moisturizing balm. My lips are always chapped and I’ve found most lip stains to be very drying, so it’s so helpful to have that come with it.

Color works for me, when dry it doesn’t smudge, and overall is a good product. My only negative is that there isn’t a lot of product in the tube so I’m not sure it will last as long as my regular lip color.

This is my favorite new lip combo! I love the color with my skin tone (very fair) and hair (blonde). The top coat is also incredibly hydrating and not sticky. I find that I typically only need to touch up 1-2 times/day.

I used to buy these at a department stores, but now I found it in Amazon, which is more convenient and at the same price. I love the fact that I just need to apply it once in the morning and it last the whole day, even drinking and eating. The only bad thing is that the virtual Amazon app to try the color on your skin and lips, shows lighter tones, so I bought a darker one, but the next time I’ll buy my favorite number that I could find within the collection.

This color gives your lips a fresh rose color without looking like lipstick. I can add a gloss a couple times throughout the day to shine it up. Does not dry my lips out like all the other brands. Which is why I have bought this same one for over 10 years.

I bought Spiced Latte, Natural Blush & Nude Flush. All three last a long time. Exfoliating the lips makes the product last even longer & remain more even after eating & drinking. The feel is somewhat dryer though then I would have liked, but the clear top coat helps with that to a degree. The colors that I purchased are where the lip stain lost points. It is extremely difficult to discern whether the color in the photo will work for each person even though there are example pictures on people with different skin colors. The colors were still a surprise once I used them on my own lips. On me, the Spiced Latte is absolutely brown/beige with a blue cast that makes me look like a corpse. In the pics it looked more rose-beige but it’s straight-up brown on me & not in a good way. My husband said I looked like I was freezing because of the weird bluish cast the stain created. The Natural Blush seemed promising, but again, the color was very different from the photos on me. The Natural Blush stain made my lips look very purplish – almost like a merlot stain from drinking wine. This color wasn’t terrible on me & perhaps could be used for when I want a more dramatic color, but it is far from what one would consider a “natural-blush” color to be – at least on me. Lastly is the Nude Flush. Again the color was not quite what I had thought it would be – but it works better than the other two for daily wear. The Nude Flush is more of a neutral pinkish beige (kind of what I thought the spiced Latte would be actually). This color could work with a number of different complexions but it’s super light – almost imperceptible on my lips. I will likely keep that one handy to use if I want something to give me a longer hint of color. In essence, out of the three, the Nude Flush is the one I prefer because the color was closer to what I thought it would be than the other two. I am still going to keep looking though for a long lasting, non drying lip stain that I would like to repurchase.

This is a great product and really does last a long time. Some of the colors bright so I use the back side of applier bcuz it does not have as much color on it. I have tried to wipe the access off the right side, however still can be too much. Just depends on how much color you want on. I have sometimes still had light color in the morning even after brushing teeth and washing up. Love the product and bought more colors.

My favourite Color!
I was sad to hear this color has been discontinued but happy to find it through Superior Apothecary. They communicated with me throughout the process to let me know the product would ship as soon as they received it. It arrived today and is exactly what I ordered.

Covergirl lipstsain and lip balm combo is the best…
This particular covergirl lipstain combo is in the color ‘always rosy’ and is a beautiful mauvy pink, I think that’s the color..Anyway it is a beautiful lipstain and is super long lasting on the lips… Yesterday I put it on at around 7.30 am and it lasted the whole day, through all my lectures and all my meals.I got it off finally with makeup remover at around 11pm…I had to touch it up sligghtly just once…I am super happy with this purchase….
