I love this stuff. I have dark hair & do not want to color my roots every 6 weeks. Can it rub off on your fingers and pillow case? Yes. I haven’t found a product that doesn’t. BUT. It’s better than anything else. Believe me. I’ve tried everything. Root mascara, L’Oréal Root spray, generic root spray, other brand root powders, permanent marker (yep) Sally Hansen root stick (like a crayon you have to get wet) THIS is better than those things. TIP: Apply some light weight hair wax or serum first to the area. Then apply hair powder. Works better that way. This product isn’t perfect but it does the job better than anything I’ve seen.

Since menopause, my hair has been thinning around my temples, but I have a full head of hair everywhere else. I saw this product on a commercial on TV and thought I would try it out. I was skeptical because it seemed like it would not stay on or the powder would transfer off. I was surprised that it worked great! It covered up my thinning temple area of hair and blended so naturally! And the best part is that it lasted until my next hair wash and did not transfer! Ive been very insecure about my thinning hair, this product has helped that! Highly recommend!

For this Boldify to work, you have to have oils on your hair so the pigment deposits onto the stand. If you have freshly clean hair, you’ll get that “ghost” (hardly deposited color) look. It did an okay job, Loved the color match Ash Brown 0.14oz/4g.I like to have options and I was about to reorder but was hesitant on paying $18-29 for an item that was just okay.I recently found and bought a drug store brand (C*****l Root Touch up) that specializes in hair color(s). It was cheaper, I like the brush that came with it, and it deposits better onto freshly washed hair. So when you do have natural oils on your hair you don’t need much to get the pigment on.This C*****l brand came in 0.07oz/2.1g (x3packs) on sale for $17 on Amazon. So even if you had bought Boldify at $17, the other brand gave 2.3g more product for $17. Goes on better=uses less product & your money goes a lil further. If the other brand goes out of business, I’ll return to Boldify.

I have always used a spray on type of color for short term gray coverage, but I found it messy and it changes the texture of my hair. This product was really easy to use, I loved the hair color match, it matched my shade perfectly. Everything was in one small little container, which is easy to carry for touchups if need be. I found it comes off on my fingers a little bit if I scratch my head where I’ve placed the color but otherwise I’m really enjoying using this product. It’s not messy and it’s easy to use. Would definitely buy again.

I really want to love this product, and will if the manufacturer can solve this issue.In the photos there are three containers of Boldify powder. The two powders on the left are the Dark Brown option. The powder on the right is the Light Brown option.Now look at the round application sponges. The two on the left should match, but they don’t. The middle sponge is Dark Brown while the sponge on the far left is lighter, but is supposed to be Dark Brown.Now onto coverage. The Light Brown was too light for my light brown hair, so on the next order I bought the Dark Brown powder shown in the middle of the photograph. You can see again that it’s Dark Brown. I loved it as you can see as it was used up.However the Dark Brown on the left still has powder left in it, but it’s not even going on my hair anymore. It’s like the powder is ineffective, as well as the wrong color.I will have to look for another product unless quality control is corrected. It’s too bad as it’s quite nice when it works.

I have hair loss due to hormonal issues and have always had a hard time styling my hair for work. I’ve used dry shampoo with color to hide my scalp but it’s always left such a heavy residue and made my scalp itchy. Nevermind if I ran my hand through my hair or scratched my head I had brown residue. I had doubts about this stuff but thought I’d give it a try. WOW! Amazing coverage and no itchy scalp or transfer when I touch my hair or scalp. So easy to apply and although there isn’t a lot in there, it does last quite a while. I will be buying monthly. Feel so much more confidant now. I have tried the fibers as well but this stuff is easier to apply. At least for me it is.

Unfortunately I was blessed with hair that is baby fine and very thin on top. It’s only gotten thinner as I’ve gotten older. I always hated being able to see more of my scalp than most people do. When I tell you this product is a lifesaver, I mean it. I definitely have more confidence, especially standing under lights and outdoors. It does not come off on clothing, it does not run when your head gets wet or you sweat either. I live in Arizona where it’s extremely hot in the summer and I had no issues when I got sweaty. Washes out great with shampoo and it will come off a little on your fingers if you scratch your head but otherwise it stays right on. Pro tip, set it with hairspray.

I’m usually super skeptical of youtube videos saying a product is amazing as most of the time it is barely ok at best, but this actually worked REALLY WELL! I hardly wear any make up and am not particularly skilled in “doing my hair”, but this was really easy to use and apply. I watched a couple youtube videos to see the technique and it was just as easy as it looked. I’ve only used it with my hair down or in a ponytail so other hairstyles might need more coverage, but I had about an inch of 80% grey roots and NO ONE noticed lol I told them all and they looked harder and still said they couldn’t tell. It’s “stupid-easy” to use. I got lucky and guessed my shade on the 1st try(med blonde), so others might have to buy a couple til they find a match, but I can’t recommend this enough and am telling all my friends!

Covers grey and give the impression of thicker fuller hair.I was using a well know brands root spray and found that it was contributing to hair loss with it being so cold and sprayed directly on the scalp and the harsh chemicals. This is very gentle.. dabs on instantly, has no powder residue and is so easy to apply. I’ve had no effect with rain either. Allowed me to go several weeks longer with having to dye my roots. Brilliant product.
