I’ll be honest, this may be my first clarifying shampoo. But, I didn’t get into hair product until recently (crazy at age 38). So, this is my first time with buildup. I think it works fantastic. I can see how it would be very drying for some though.

My hair is curly, and I need to use a lot of product if I want to straighten it. This clarifying shampoo removes all of the product residue very gently. It does not leave my hair dry, and it smells very nice. I was able to purchase it with a discount, and I would buy it again even if I’ll have to pay full price. A little goes a long way.

I work a very physical job in an Amazon delivery station and between sweat, oil, dust, hair products and whatever else my scalp was getting so much buildup. I started using this a few times a week and I no longer have an itchy and irritated scalp. The smell is wonderful! I will advise tho, when I use this the lather turns red, which I have fuschia hair, so I do believe it is slowly stripping the color out of my hair.
